A 46-year-old Lockport man was sentenced to federal prison Tuesday for his role in the theft of 22 firearms from a home in Wilson.
John F. Apolito was sentenced to three years and one month by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.
The U.S. attorney's office said Apolito pleaded guilty to possession of firearms stolen in a burglary at the Wilson home last April 9. The theft was investigated by state police and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives.
