>Power equipment stolen from Wheatfield business
WHEATFIELD -- Two engines, four gas-power trimmers, a generator and a power shovel broom were stolen from a machine shop in the 2200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard sometime Saturday afternoon or early evening, police said.
The shop owner told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies the stolen equipment and the damaged door were worth more than $2,656.
Deputies believe the suspect smashed the glass doors by driving or backing a vehicle into the building.

>Large-screen TV taken from 66th Street home
NIAGARA FALLS -- A large-screen television was stolen from a 66th Street home Saturday, police said. Also stolen were a stand, DVD player and four DVDs. The loss was estimated at $3,660.
