WEDNESDAY, 4:30p.m.: The Rooftop Poetry Club presents "Homage to a Combatant Poet: Aime Cesaire Workshop" with Musa Abdul Hakim. Workshop will focus on the work of Aime Cesaire (1913-2008), the Afro- Martinican, anti-colonialist poet, statesman and founder of the "Negritude" movement, widely considered one of the 20th century's most influential French language poets. WEDNESDAY, 7:30p.m.: UB Poetics Program presents a Triple Launch Extravaganza reading for Steve Zultansky's "This & That Lenin," the first Canadian edition of Gertrude Stein's "Tender Buttons," and the first trade edition of Steve McCaffery's "homolinguistic translations" from "Tender Buttons" called "Every Way Oakly." All three books are published by the Toronto- based independent publisher Book- Thug. Rust Belt Books, 202 Allen St.
