>Sleep-out will benefit the poor and the homeless

Students and staff in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District will bundle up tonight for the district's 22nd annual sleep-out to benefit the poor and homeless in the Buffalo area.

Sponsored by a staff group known as Educators Totally Committed (E.T.C.), this year's event will be held from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday in the Hoover Middle School parking lot off Sheridan Drive.

Participating staff members will accept on-site donations of cash, food, clothing, personal care items and small pieces of furniture between 8 and 10 p.m. Friday. Checks can be made payable to Ken-Ton Schools-E.T.C.
