Tronconi Segarra and Associates, a certified public accounting and business consulting firm with offices in Williamsville and Niagara Falls, promoted John J. Callahan and Curtis A. Palutro to principal. Callahan, a CPA, has 15 years of public accounting experience and has been a member of the firm's Tax Department since 2001. He is an accounting graduate of the University at Albany. Palutro has nearly 13 years of public accounting experience and five years of experience as a treasurer/controller in the private sector. A CPA, he currently serves clients in the firm's Government Services Practice. He received an accounting degree from the Grove City College, Grove City, Pa.

The Taste of Buffalo elected Thomas Muscarella its 2009 chairman. He is a senior public health sanitarian with the Erie County Department of Health. Hearst Newspapers appointed Jeff Folckemer president and CEO of White Directory Publishers, effective Jan. 1. He succeeds Richard D. Lewis, who will serve as publisher and consultant. Most recently executive vice president and chief operating officer of White Directory, Folckemer also served as chief information officer, director of business development and vice president of Internet since joining the company in 1999. White Directory is an independent publisher of print and online yellow pages.

The New York State Beer Wholesalers Association elected Jeff Vukelic chairman. Vukelic is president of Saratoga Eagle Sales and Service. He previously was with his family's Lancaster-based beer wholesaling business, Try-It Distributing.
