A Franklinville man faces up to four years in prison following his sentencing Monday in Cattaraugus County Court for driving drunk.
Martie L. Oakes, 27, being held in the county jail, was sentenced by Judge Larry M. Himelein to serve from 1 1/3 to four years in prison for his guilty plea to driving while intoxicated and without a license April 25 while he had a blood alcohol count of 0.19 percent, more than twice the legal limit.
Oakes was further sentenced to pay fines totaling $3,000 and serve a concurrent one-year jail sentence for violating a probation sentence previously imposed for DWI.
Mark E. Doolittle, 53, of Erie, Pa., now in the Chautauqua County Jail, was sentenced to serve one to three years in prison and fined $1,500 for his conviction of DWI and driving without a license Feb. 2 in the City of Salamanca. He drove with a blood alcohol count of 0.18 percent.
Kathleen E. Jimerson, 34, of Davenport, Fla., was sentenced to five years' probation and fined $2,000 for her conviction of DWI on July 23, 2007, in the City of Salamanca while driving with a blood alcohol count of 0.21 percent.
Jeremy A. Mitchell, 25, of Depew, was sentenced to five years' probation, including 240 hours of community service, and fined $2,000 for his conviction of DWI on Nov. 24 in the Town of Franklinville for driving with a blood alcohol count of 0.21 percent.
Dec. 15 has been set for sentencing two men who entered guilty pleas.
Mark R. Busekist, 50, of Cattaraugus, pleaded guilty to DWI on March 27 in the Village of Cattaraugus and to violating a probation sentence imposed for a previous DWI conviction.
John R. Thompson, 19, of Allegany, pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted assault March 22 in the City of Olean when he used a weapon in an attempt to injure a man.
Two others face sentencing Jan. 26.
Joseph F. Smith, 31, of West Seneca, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, cocaine, on May 3 during the firemen's regatta in the Town of Great Valley.
Bradley P. Stahlman, 38, of Salamanca, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny between November 2007 and April 2008, when he stole more than $1,000 from Seneca Territory Gaming Corp. in Salamanca.
Adjournments have been granted for three others who were arraigned and entered not-guilty pleas.
Christopher, J. Dorn, 19, of Cattaraugus, pleaded not guilty to third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief in April at Carpenters' Union Hall in the City of Olean.
Deon R. Maull, 19, of Allegany, pleaded not guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance June 18 in the City of Olean.
Shannon M. Reed, 28, of Salamanca, pleaded not guilty to DWI, driving without a license and traffic violations March 22 in Olean.
