Lumsden McCormick, Buffalo certified public accountants and advisers, named Katherine M. Bailey a paraprofessional in the Tax Department. Bailey was formerly with A&O Ventures in Glen Falls.

Erdman Anthony, a national engineering consulting firm with offices in Rochester, Albany, Buffalo, and Poughkeepsie, Harrisburg, Pa.; and West Palm Beach, Fla., appointed William Gress a mechanical engineer in its facilities engineering and design services practice. Gress has more than 20 years of engineering experience and is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, Louisiana and Maryland. He earned a bachelor's in mechanical design engineering technology from the Pennsylvania State University.
