Center aiding disabled to hold talks Wednesday
JAMESTOWN -- The Resource Center, which supports people with disabilities, and the Robert H. Jackson Center will present "The Value of a Single Human Being," from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in the Jackson Center, 305 E. Fourth St.
Featured during the program -- named for a movie trailer to the 1961 film "Judgment at Nuremberg" -- will be talks by former Buffalo Bill Joe DeLamielleure and his friend, Fred Siegel, who became a Special Olympics gold medalist. Also speaking are Greg Peterson, chairman of the Jackson Center board, and Henry Wesley, a resident of the former Willowbrook State School, an institution for disabled people.
The cost for the lunch program is $20. Resource Center members pay $15. For information, call 483-2344.
