As the helter-skelter life of comedian Eddie Griffin prepares to take center stage in the new VH1 reality series "Going for Broke," the motor-mouthed star of "Undercover Brother" and the TV series "Malcolm and Eddie" will make a pit stop at Kleinhans Music Hall (Symphony Circle) at 9 tonight as part of his 2008 comedy tour.
Griffin, who has had a hand in dozens of projects from films and television shows to several comedy albums, is known for his accessible, mildly irreverent brand of narrative comedy. His deeply involved impressions of Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton and others are audience favorites.
He'll be preceded on the Kleinhans stage by fellow comedians Huggy Low Down, Thea, A.J. Johnson, Michael Colyar and Talent. Tickets are available at the Kleinhans Box Office, at Doris Records (286 East Ferry St.), online at www.bpo.org or by calling 885-5000.
