ACH DU LIEBER -- The East Aurora Moose and Kiwanis join together for their first Oktoberfest from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Moose Lodge, 905 Main St. Featured will be German food, beer, fun and music with the Schnickelfritzers. Proceeds will benefit the East Aurora Boys and Girls Club Camp Ska-no-ka-san.


TIME TO SHOP -- The Lollipop Booth returns as St. Jude's Episcopal Church, Dash and Macamley streets in South Buffalo, holds its fourth annual Theme Basket Extravaganza from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be available for purchase. For info, call the church at 824-4322.

Meanwhile, the new Our Lady of Hope Parish, Lafayette and Grant streets on Buffalo's West Side, holds a fall festival from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday. There will be $4,000 in cash prizes, more than 100 theme baskets and food, including barbecue, roast beef, baked goods and international dishes. BIDDING FOR BEEF -- St. Simon's Episcopal Church, 200 Cazenovia St., is sponsoring a meat raffle Saturday evening. Doors open at 6 p.m., the raffle starts at 7. Admission is $3 and refreshments will be served.


GOOD EATIN' -- West Seneca Post 8113, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 299 Leydecker Road, is sponsoring a steak roast from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The meal includes a charcoal-grilled one-pound porterhouse steak, salad, potato, rolls and coffee. Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door.
