For the next couple of days we'll be talking about the Oklahoma Sooners, one of college football's elite programs. With this week's No.1 ranking, Oklahoma has earned the top spot in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for 96 total weeks, breaking a tie with Notre Dame, which has 95 No. 1's.
But the fun fact about the Sooners that I find more interesting is that the team has averaged 26.5 points a game in every game they've played, ever! That's 29,941 points, good for first all-time. If they don't crash the 30,000 mark this week at Baylor, they'll definitely do it sometime this month.
Today's question is: Which national football power is second all-time in total points scored?
A) Nebraska B) Michigan C) USC D) Ohio State
Talk about in in the comment section below and look for the answer in the On The Web section (Page B2) in Friday's print edition of the News.
