Bagged leaves to be collected through Friday
City sanitation crews will pick up bagged leaves through Friday, on the day after a property owner's regularly scheduled garbage collection.
All bags must be free of debris and household waste.
Mayor Byron W. Brown underscored the importance of bagging leaves as opposed to sweeping them into the street.
"This causes crews greater difficulty in collecting leaves and creates greater complications if we experience an early snowfall," Brown said.
Residents who have questions are urged to call 851-6568.
