I Am Thankful

I am thankful for being alive

As I awaken to the sounds of early morn

And once again a new day is born.

As I gaze upon the breathtaking sunrise,

I am so grateful as I realize

I have the gift of sight, sound, taste and touch

And feeling that I cherish so much.
