*From the All-Western New York team's inception in 1958 to '70, the team consisted of just 11 players.

*The original All-WNY team: E George Mayer (Williamsville), T Lou Pace (Seneca), G Kevin Brinkworth (St. Joe's), C Tom Sommer (St. Joe's), G Joe Colatarci (North Tonawanda), T Paul Roman (North Tonawanda), E John Murphy (Tonawanda), B Steve Waite (Batavia), B Dick Jackson (St. Joe's), B John Krickovich (Depew), B Dick Reinholtz (Batavia).

*There were seven underclassmen -- all juniors -- who made All-WNY in its first four seasons. There were only seven underclassmen selected over the next nine years.
