Niagara stays in rankings

Niagara split its first weekend in College Hockey America play at Bemidji State. Not a bad result on the road, though being blanked 3-0 for the first time since 2005 definitely hurts.

Still, the result kept the Purple Eagles in the mix in the national polls. They slipped from No. 18 to No. 19 in the poll and dropped two spots to No. 19 in the Inside College Hockey power rankings. They also remain among the teams receiving votes in the USA Today poll.

Niagara travels to Robert Morris for another road weekend in the CHA. Of note: Robert Morris is a "bubble-licious" team in the INCH power ratings.
