Time to end "don't ask, don't tell"?

Back in August, an alliance of gay, transgender and lesbian groups held a candidates' forum, to which only the Democrats showed up.

The candidates agreed that the "don't ask, don't tell" policy for the armed forces dating back to the Clinton administration ought to dropped, and that the military ought to accept openly gay persons for military service.

Do you agree?
