Kathryn D. Lambert, retired teacher
Sept. 21, 1924 -- July 29, 2007

Kathryn D. Lambert of Williamsville, a retired Buffalo teacher, died Sunday in the Weinberg Campus, Getzville, after a brief illness. She was 82.

Born in Buffalo, Miss Lambert was a graduate of Holy Angels Academy and received her bachelor's degree in education from D'Youville College and her master's degree from Buffalo State College. She taught for 34 years at School 65 in Riverside.

In retirement, she was a volunteer at Brothers of Mercy Rehabilitation Center, the Williamsville branch of Buffalo & Erie County Library and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

Miss Lambert enjoyed reading, classical music, going to the theater, traveling and bicycling.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville.
