Man accused of carjacking at gunpoint; driver hurt
An Orchard Park man was charged Sunday with robbing a man of his car at gunpoint on Buffalo's East Side and then dragging the man when he victim grabbed on to the side of the fleeing car, police reported.
Joshua M. Bradley, 18, of Lake Avenue, is accused of committing the gunpoint carjacking June 28 at East Delavan Avenue and Suffolk Street.
His victim, a 23-year-old man, suffered bruises, scrapes and bleeding on his right forearm, right elbow, left knee, left ankle, right side, right knuckles and left hand.
Northeast District police said Bradley confronted the victim at about 12:48 a.m., displayed a handgun and ordered him out of his vehicle.
Detective Leo McGrath arrested Bradley at about 7 p.m. Sunday at the Northeast District station.
Bradley was charged with robbery, assault, reckless endangerment, menacing and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
