Iskalo Development Corp. announced Tuesday it will begin renovating to the former Stereo Advantage Lifetime Service Center in Williamsville to create a medical office building.
Iskalo began looking at the property after Stereo Advantage put the building up for sale last July. Purchase of the property was completed in May.
"The building is right across the street from us and has a superb location along the Main Street corridor in Williamsville," said Eric Eisenried, Iskalo's director of leasing.
Renovations will begin within three weeks and may be completed by the fall. The building will have 20,000 square feet of medical and professional office space.
The building will receive a new brick facade, architectural windows and reconstruction of its tower to look like a clock tower. The building will also be outfitted with new electrical and mechanical systems, typically used in medical and professional Class A buildings.
Although the Iskalo has not had a full-blown marketing effort to attract tenants, there has been strong interest in the building, Eisenried said.
"Right now, we have an anchor tenant we are close to finalizing a deal with. However, we have had a lot of interest in the building from other possible tenants as well," he said.
"Because we are located in Williamsville, we have a natural affinity to the town. We hoping to give the property a quintessential village building," Eisenried said.
