Cradle Beach Camp, 8038 Old Lake Shore Road, Angola, is accepting applications for children ages 9 to 12 who have developmental disabilities for its fifth summer session, Aug. 12 to 18. The program offers educational and recreational activities in a camp setting along Lake Erie. Independent Living of Niagara County has opened a new office in the Dale Associated Senior Center, 33 Ontario St., Lockport. It offers services to individuals with disabilities who need help with Social Security, social services and other assistance. Meetings are scheduled Wednesdays by appointment only, call 284-4131.

Native American Community Services, 1005 Grant St., provides assistance to developmentally disabled individuals and their families in both Erie and Niagara counties through the Medicaid Services Coordination Program. Services can be provided to off-reservation Native Americans as well as other Western New York community members. For information, call 874-4460.

New Directions Youth and Family Services serves children and families throughout Western New York with serious emotional, behavioral and learning problems. Agency professionals provide family counseling, alcohol and substance abuse counseling, special education classes and life skills instruction. For information, call 834-9413, Ext. 220.

People Inc. Home Health Care, 2128 Elmwood Ave., offers services for children birth to age 3 with developmental delays. Services include service coordination, physical and occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, nursing care, nutrition, hearing evaluations, behavioral therapy, parenting skills training, counseling and extended respite. Goodwill Industries of Western New York is a vocational agency whose programs and services help individuals with special needs to attain vocational training and employment. Services offered include career counseling, job placement, work adjustment training, welfare-to-work preparation and vocational evaluation. For information, call 854-3494.

Aspire of Western New York offers early intervention programs for children with disabilities.
