M&T Bank promoted Christine M. Tarbrake to administrative vice president and area sales manager; Frederick M. Krajacic to administrative vice president; Trevor J. Foote to administrative vice president and manager of the pipeline trading function for the bank's Mortgage Division, and Kelly A. MacDonald to administrative vice president and quality assurance and compliance manager. Tarbrake, who joined the bank in 1981, will continue to be responsible for managing 12 branches in Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties. Krajacic, who joined the bank in 2006, holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester and an MBA from Canisius College. Foote, who holds an MBA from Canisius, joined the bank in 1997. MacDonald, who joined the in 1992, holds a bachelor's degree from Niagara University and an MBA from the University at Buffalo.

The New York State Society of Professional Engineers named Robert P. Stelianou president for a one-year term. Stelianou is a principal with Trautman Associates, a Buffalo architectural and engineering firm.

The board of the Buffalo Chapter of the Project Management Institute named Jackie May, M&T Bank, president. The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners elected Jean C. Powers president. Powers is a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group at Jaeckle Fleischmann and Mugel.

Premium Mortgage named Tom Liolos Western New York branch manager for the Williamsville location. Liolos has 18 years in the mortgage origination industry. Premium Mortgage is headquartered in Rochester.

Synacor, a Buffalo technology company, named David Pace senior technical support engineer, Phil Andrews vendor integration engineer and Michael John Network Operations Center operator. Pace most recently was a technical support representative-Tier 2 for Time Warner Cable. He holds an associate degree in computer science from ITT Technical Institute and earned MCSE and CCNA certifications at Tech State. Andrews currently is attending the Rochester Institute of Technology. John most recently was a systems integration specialist with Ocean Systems Engineering Corps. He attends the University at Buffalo.

Chiampou Travis Besaw and Kershner, an Amherst accounting firm, named Li-Fang Tseng and Josh Burnham staff accountants. Tseng, a graduate of the University at Buffalo, was previously associated with Ciminelli Development Co. Burnham is a graduate of Niagara University and was previously associated with Reebok International.
