Coaching staff reunion

Linda Hill-MacDonald reunited herself with one of her former players when she hired Cara Pearson to join her staff at the University at Buffalo. She replaces Evelyn Thompson, who left UB to take a similar position with Michigan State.

Pearson played four years for Hill-MacDonald at Minnesota, graduating in 1995. She spent the last four years as an assistant coach at North Dakota State with previous stints at Loyola-Chicago and Akron.

Pearson also played one year professionally for Hill-MacDonald -- the 1999 WNBA season with the Cleveland Rockers. Additionally, she has pro experience in Switzerland, Finland, Luxembourg and Spain.
