BENEFIT: Family and friends of Marcia Wark, former Tonawanda Pediatrics nurse and multiple sclerosis patient, are holding a benefit in her honor from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Sikora Post 1322, American Legion, 950 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. Wark, 52, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis six years ago.

Wark's husband, Dave, worked for 25 years at Skill Buick in the City of Tonawanda. But the dealership has closed, and the Warks will soon lose their insurance coverage.

HOLY HARLEYS: The second annual classic car and motorcycle blessing and show sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans Club of American Legion Post 362 in East Aurora will take place beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday at the post off of Center Street in East Aurora. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Mercy Flight. There is a $10 registration fee for show vehicles but general admission is free. The bands Acoustic Therapy and Black Ice will perform.

YWCA: An open house for the Young Ones Summer Enrichment Program will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the YWCA of the Tonawandas, 49 Tremont St., North Tonawanda. Educational staff will be there to answer questions about the program for 3 to 5 year olds. The programs runs from July 9 through Aug. 31. For more information call 692-5580.

CELEBRATION: St. Philips Community Center will present, "A Generation of Men Who Are Making a Difference in the Community," a recognition luncheon in celebration of Father's Day.
