Rich Products Corp., a Buffalo-headquartered food company, recently promoted Jill Bond to senior vice president and general counsel. Bond, a member of the company's legal team since 1988, will have legal responsibility for all divisions of Rich's North American Business Group and oversight of Rich's International Group legal strategies. She graduated from Canisius College and the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Praxair Inc. named Luiz Oliveira director, packaged gases, for the industrial gases company's Global Operations Excellence Group in the Tonawanda Technology Center. Oliveira, who joined the company in 1984, most recently served as vice president of operations at White Martins, Praxair's wholly owned subsidiary in Brazil. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from Coppead/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Niagara Tourism and Convention Corp. outdoor specialist Bill Hilts Jr. was named a 2007 inductee to the New York State Outdoorsmen's Hall of Fame. Hilts is among 11 to receive this honor. An outdoors writer and photographer, Hilts is also an acknowledged fishing and hunting expert and serves as president of the Lake Ontario Sportfishing Promotion Council. He is past president of the New York State Outdoor Writers Association and currently serves on the board of directors for the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers.

The Bank of Akron promoted John M. Evoy to vice president and business development officer. He will also continue as branch manager of the bank's newest office in Lancaster.Evoy, who has more than 13 years banking experience, joined the bank in September 2006. Evoy graduated from Erie Community College and is attending Hilbert College. Also, the bank appointed Michelle L. Figgins marketing manager and G. Douglas Nelson manager of retail loans and collections. Figgins, who joined the bank in January, is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. Nelson, an assistant vice president, joined the bank in 2001. He is a graduate of Cortland State College.

Delaware North Companies, a hospitality and food service provider, named Derek Zwickey regional general manager of the company's parks and resorts operations. Zwickey joined the company in 1997 as commissary manager at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Most recently he served as general manager at the Yellowstone National Park operations.

Eric Mower and Associates appointed Robert J. Bellafiore a senior partner and member of the board of directors. He heads the marketing communications agency's Public Affairs Practice. Bellafiore joined the agency in 2003 as director of public affairs at its Albany office and has 25 years experience in journalism, government, politics and business. Eric Mower has offices in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, as well as Charlotte, N.C., and Atlanta.

Kenmore Mercy Hospital President and CEO Mary Laski Hoffman and Mercy Hospital of Buffalo President and CEO John P. Davanzo were named Fellows of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a national professional society for health care leaders.
