DAY OF PRAYER: In observance of the National Day of Prayer, Cambria United Church of Christ will host a time for everyone to share in prayer for our churches, our families, our marriages, our country, our leaders, our educators and our servicemen and servicewomen, 7 p.m., in the church, 4045 Lower Mountain Road, Cambria.
FRIENDSHIP DAY: Church Women United May Friendship Day, 10 a.m., Youngstown Presbyterian Church, 100 Church St., Youngstown. Bring a salad to share for lunch and a friend. Theme is "Friends Under God's Wing."
FISH FRY: Members of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are sponsoring a fish fry fundraiser to help with medical expenses for Beth Donner Schlamann, who is battling cancer, 4 to 7 p.m., in the school hall, 6630 Luther St., Bergholz. Fish fry for adults, $7.50; for children, $5.50; chicken finger dinners, $6.50. Takeouts are available.
ROAST PORK DINNER: Family style roast pork dinner, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., St. James United Methodist Church, 4661 Porter Road, Niagara Falls. Adults, $7; children 5 to 11, $3.50. Call 297-6421 for required reservations.
