Buffalo State College's SpringFest takes place Thursday in the Sports Arena on the Elmwood Avenue campus. This year, punk-pop powerhouse the All-American Rejects headlines the event. The band recently scored a hit with "The Future Has Arrived," a collaborator with film composer Danny Elfman that was featured prominently in the film "Meet the Robinsons" and can be found on the movie's soundtrack companion. The Rejects' last full-length album, 2006's "Move On," recently passed the double-platinum sales mark. All Time Low and Buff State band Ice Cream Social round out the bill.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Thursday; the show starts at 8. Buffalo State students with ID can buy tickets now for $5. General public admission is $25. Tickets are available in the Rockwell Hall box office and in the Campbell Student Union. Additional information on the event can be found at www.buffalostate.edu/events.
