FREE FOR ALL The no-cost way to go

The University at Buffalo continues its participation in the "365 Days/365 Plays" project tonight. The national undertaking consists of producing all of the short plays from African-American playwright Suzan Lori-Parks' "365 Days/365 Plays" cycle. Tonight's free presentation of "Week #24" is at 5:30 p.m. in 278 Center for the Arts, UB North Campus, Amherst.



Not 21? No problem

The Queen City Contra Dancers present the Buffalo Big Dance beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday. The dancers are joined by caller Becky Hill, with live music by Jiggermeister, in the Amherst Community Church, 77 Washington Highway, Amherst. For more information, visit Tickets for the dance are $25.



Go single -- or bring a friend

Usually you can't catch the Western New York Chamber Orchestra outside of its Fredonia home base, but at 7:30 p.m. Saturday they'll be in Buffalo's beautiful Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1060 Main St., performing Bach's Mass in B Minor. Admission is $10. Call 886-2400 for info.
