Smallwood Garden Club will tour the Ivy Collection at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. Speakers are Ronnie Dapp and Betsy Moll.

The Amherst Garden Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. A business meeting will be followed by a lecture by Kay McDaniel on "Feng Shui, the Relation Between You and Your Garden."

The Wheatfield Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Wheatfield Community Center, Church Road, North Tonawanda. Master Gardener Pete Diachun will present "Basics of Rose Culture." Anyone interested in becoming a member or visiting the club is welcome to attend.

District VIII FGCNYS Judges Council will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Brighton Community Church, 1225 Brighton Road, Town of Tonawanda. Horticulture exhibits will be spring bulbs (one large, three small). "April's Fool," a challenge design, will be critiqued. Master Gardener Paul Marrone will present "Three-Season Shrubs" and their care.

Sally Cunningham will present "Healthy Yards and Gardens" at 7 p.m. April 27 at St. Francis of Assisi Church Social Center, Athol Springs. Seating is limited. Call 649-0451 to register. Donation is $5 at the door.

The Parkside Community Association is accepting applications from gardeners for participation in the 10th Annual Parkside Garden Tour to be held June 24. Applications are now being accepted for the 13th Annual Garden Walk Buffalo, July 28 and 29. Gardens must be from the boundaries of Prospect Avenue to Main Street and Rabin Terrace to Rumsey Road.
