The Cheektowaga Art Guild announced the prize winners in the Judged Spring Show at the M&T Bank, Thruway Branch. First prize went to Margaret Koehler for an oil painting "Mums in a White Vase." Second prize was Nancy Taglienti's pastel painting, "Covered Bridge." The third-prize winner was Patti DeWitt for a pastel painting "Portrait of My Father."
Subversive Theatre Collective is seeking actors of all ages for its upcoming production of "Subversive Shorts," a series of short, political plays.
