TO HER HEALTH -- Family and friends are sponsoring a benefit champagne brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday in Brounshidle Post, American Legion, 3354 Delaware Ave., Town of Tonawanda, for Pam Leonard, a member of the Auxiliary for more than 30 years.

BATTER UP -- The Western New York Softball Hall of Fame will hold its annual alumni reunion from 6 to 10 p.m. April 28 in the Woodlawn Fire Hall, 3281 Lake Shore Road, Hamburg. Tickets are $10 and include snacks, beer and pop.

REUNION ROUNDUP -- Speaking of reunions, Cardinal Dougherty High School graduates from all classes are invited to an informal stag supper at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Tom's Family Restaurant, 3221 Sheridan Drive at Bailey Avenue, Amherst. LIFELINE ONLINE -- The Western New York Kidney Connection, a local Web site that lets people in need of a kidney transplant make a posting on the Internet to find a donor, is seeking donations to help transplant recipients in another way -- by defraying some of their nonmedical expenses.

Although recipients do not pay for a donated kidney, spokeswoman Jeannette Ostrom says it's legal for a recipient to cover the donor's travel, food, lodging and loss of wages. Donations will help provide vouchers to hotels, restaurants and transportation companies. To donate or to provide one of those services, visit
