CONCERT: Violinist Alexander Boissonnault, a senior at Williamsville South, has won the music scholarship competition sponsored by Friends of the Amherst Symphony Orchestra and the Williamsville Rotary. It will be presented at 7 p.m. April 22 at the Amherst Symphony Orchestra concert at Amherst Middle School. He is concertmaster of the school orchestra and Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra and plans to pursue a career in music performance.
FILM FEST: Short films by Western New York high school students will be aired at 7 p.m. April 24 at the Flickinger Performing Arts Center at Nichols.
RESEARCH STUDY: The UB Research Institute is seeking girls ages 14 to 17 and their mothers for research on teen behavior. Eligible mother-daughter pairs will participate in separate, simultaneous focus groups to discuss their views of teen risk behavior. Call 887-3344. Information will be kept confidential.
