The PAL Charity Golf Clinic will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. May 8 at the Wehrle Golf Dome. The cost is $15 per person with proceeds to benefit the PAL youth golf programs.

BOXING: The Olympia Boxing Club will host a card at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Leonard Post, 2450 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga. HOCKEY: The Town of Hamburg is taking registration for its youth pickup roller hockey program. There are two age divisions, 7-9 and 10-12, for boys and girls. The Niagara County Coyotes girls program will hold tryouts Wednesday at Niagara University. RUNNING: The Checkers Running Club will hold a marathon training run at the Niawanda Park path at 8 a.m. Sunday in preparation for the Nissan Buffalo Marathon in May. SOCCER: The Hamburg Monarch Soccer Club will host a spaghetti dinner from 2 to 6 p.m. April 28 at the Big Tree Fire Hall, 4037 South Park Ave. The dinner, prepared by the Olive Garden, is $6.50 per person presale or $7.50 at the door. Children 5-10 are $4 presale or $4.50 at the door while children under 4 are free.
