Niagara County is not permitted to take the cash value of its low-cost electricity allocation from the Niagara Power Project instead of the electricity itself. A story Thursday incorrectly stated that Niagara County can take the equivalent value of the electricity in cash. Power, credits or a combination of power and credits are the county's options, Assistant County Attorney R. Thomas Burgasser said.
