Good and Fair Bekins, a Kenmore carting and moving company, presented Rick Monterville its Quota Buster Award for the second consecutive year for outstanding sales and customer satisfaction with nearly $750,000 in sales. Monterville specializes in office relocations.

The Western New York Independent Living Project named Leela Shegonne director of Native American Independent Living Services. Shegonne obtained a bachelor's degree in American Indian studies from the University of Wisconsin.
