A memorial service for Geraldine B. Jackson of Colden, a practical nurse and former co-owner and operator of West Falls Antiques, will be arranged.
She died Dec. 22 during a violent invasion at her home and had been missing until Saturday. She was 87.
Born Geraldine Allen in Buffalo, she attended city schools. A resident of Colden since 1958, she worked as a practical nurse for several years at an East Aurora nursing home and ran the antiques store in West Falls until about 15 years ago.
Her husband of 57 years, Richard M., a retired master carpenter and former big-band drummer, died in 1998.
Her son, Richard M. Jr., said her family "offers its profound and heartfelt thanks to all those people who persevered so relentlessly in helping to bring final closure to Geraldine's ordeal."
Surviving are another son, Lynn M., and a brother, Harry Allen Jr.
