*Let's see how UB reacts to its two-week layoff when it takes the court again Sunday at Bowling Green. The Bulls were 8-1 last year until an 11-day break prior to Christmas and were never truly the same after it.
*Hofstra coach Tom Pecora, telling the New York Post last week about Canisius' hiring of former Pride aide Tom Parrotta: "They made a great choice.
