The hits keep coming

> GRADING THE BILLS

RUNNING GAME (F): Run game went nowhere. Nada. Zippo. Willis had 11 carries for 23 yards. Willis' fumble gave Ravens three points.

PASSING GAME (C-): Yes, J.P. threw two killer INTs. But he had 237 yards and Bills weren't killed by blitz. Not good enough, but we see progress.

RUN DEFENSE (B): Bills didn't let Lewis run north-south. Kyle Williams was good. Too bad it wasn't this decent all season.

PASS DEFENSE (C): Good coverage day for Clements and McGee. Four-man rush created some pressure but couldn't get to McNair.

SPECIAL TEAMS (C): McGee had good return before halftime. Moorman hit one inside 20 but hit poor one in third quarter. Coverage was fine.

COACHING (B): Jauron and Fewell found a way to give team a chance to win. It was 9-7 late in third. There's reason for optimism.

> GRADING THE RAVENS

RUNNING GAME (C ): Lewis is not as shifty as he used to be. He had 69 yards and a 3.5 average. Those aren't Super Bowl numbers.

PASSING GAME (A): McNair is consummate pro. He went to the right place with ball every time. Efficient. Heap is a tough tight end.

RUN DEFENSE (A): Rock solid run defense makes Ravens strong Super Bowl contender. The front seven is fierce. Ngata is a tough rookie.

PASS DEFENSE (A): Ravens give teams fits with five-man zone blitzes. McAlister jumped on short pass to score on INT. Reed had big hits.

SPECIAL TEAMS (C): Rookie punter boomed key third-quarter punt. Stover is a superb kicker. He's 26 of 28 on the season.

COACHING (A): Billick got pass happy in first half. But give him credit. His play-calling helped team storm down stretch.
