A glossy, richly detailed new book -- filled with lush photography -- focuses on the impressive historic architecture of New York State.
History buffs, travelers and those interested in architecture and preservation will be interested in "Historic New York: Architectural Journeys in the Empire State."
The book, by photographer Andy Olenick and writer Richard O. Reisem, was six years in the making. It includes scenes and descriptions of historic buildings from all over New York, from Manhattan to Chautauqua County, covering some 400 years of the state's history.
