Alfred M. Coutts Jr. of Lewiston died Thursday in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston after a long struggle with Huntington's disease. He was 54.
Born in Niagara Falls, Mr. Coutts was a graduate of Red Brick School in Lewiston, Porter High School and Niagara County Community College, and he attended Buffalo State College.
He worked at Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls and was a production engineer for seven years at Spaulding Fibre Co. in the City of Tonawanda.
He is survived by his parents, Alfred M. Sr. and Mary A.; a son, Alfred M. III; one daughter, Jessica L.; a sister, Deborah; and two brothers, Kenneth and Nathan.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
