Arthur D. Davis of Buffalo, a retired maintenance engineer, died Monday in Millard Fillmore Hospital. He was 63.
Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Lackawanna High School and served in the Navy from 1961 to 1964, aboard a destroyer and the USS Kittyhawk. Mr. Davis also served in the Coast Guard from 1965 to 1968.
He also worked as a University at Buffalo maintenance engineer for about 20 years, retiring in 2003.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, the former Sylvia Gadley; a daughter, Antira; a son, Arthur Jr.; three sisters, Yvonne Alls, Christine White and Lillian Harris; and a brother, Lawrence.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today in Lombardo Funeral Home, 102 Linwood Ave.
