Mildred L. Marth, operator, teacher <br> June 7, 1934 -- Dec. 25, 2006

Mildred L. Marth, a homemaker, died unexpectedly Monday in her Orchard Park home. She was 72.

Born Mildred Cullen in Buffalo, she was a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy. Before raising her family, the mother of six was an operator for New York Telephone and taught at several parochial schools in Buffalo.

A longtime South Buffalo resident, she moved to Orchard Park recently from Williamsville.

She was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She also was a member of the Mount Mercy Alumnae Association.

She and her husband, Frank, would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in February.

In addition to her husband, survivors include five sons, Mark, Michael, Robert, Kenneth and Peter; a daughter, Christine; and a brother, Eugene Cullen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. today in St. Agatha Church, 65 Abbott Road, after prayers at 8:45 in Nightengale Funeral Home, 1884 South Park Ave.
