William K. Johnson, a Cheektowaga resident and Marine Corps veteran, died Saturday in Sisters Hospital. He was 75.
Mr. Johnson attended local public schools.
For 21 years, until he retired in 1976, he was employed as a crane operator with Worthington Pump.
Mr. Johnson was a past commander of Chapter 113, Disabled American Veterans, and a retired institutional representative with the Boy Scouts of America.
A novice sailor at Finger Lakes Yacht Club, he also enjoyed traveling; his favorite trip was a two-week Panama cruise.
His wife of 48 years, Alice, died in 2003.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Brewer; a son, Michael; a brother, Raymond; and a sister, Edna Mae Klinshaw.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 2049 George Urban Blvd., Depew.
