>Driver charged with DWI after collision in Falls
NIAGARA FALLS -- A LaSalle woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after her car ran a stop sign early Sunday and was hit broadside by another vehicle, which sent it careening head-on into a utility pole, city police reported.
Bonnie Murray, 51, of 72nd Street was arrested after the 3 a.m. crash at 18th Street and Michigan Avenue, police said.
Her blood-alcohol content, measured later in Police Headquarters, was 0.18, more than twice the legal limit, according to reports.
Murray was not seriously injured in the crash, police said. She also was charged with failing to stop for a stop sign.
