Hot turkey dinners to be served to needy

Hot turkey dinners will be served to 300 people in need from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. today in Buffalo Dream Center, 512 Pearl St.

The meal is a team effort of Hearts for the Homeless and the Dream Center, according to the Rev. Eric Johns, church pastor. The meal also will include dances, music and prizes.

"For years, Hearts for the Homeless had been feeding street people on Christmas Eve out in the cold," Johns said. "We are happy to partner with them so that everyone can enjoy a good meal in a warm place."
