Melissa M. Jackson and John J. Crangle III were united in marriage by the Rev. Leon J. Biernat, director of vocations for the Diocese of Buffalo, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Catholic Church, Kenmore. A reception was given in Pearl Street Grill and Brewery for the daughter of David Jackson of Town of Tonawanda and Cheryl Cain of Amherst and the son of Leona and John Crangle Jr. of Town of Tonawanda. The couple will live in Hamburg after a trip to Hawaii. The bride is a counselor for Community Outreach Promoting Empowerment (COPE) Program at Canisius College, from which she has a master's degree in school counseling. She is a Fredonia State College graduate. The bridegroom, a social studies teacher in Hamburg Central High School, is a graduate of Canisius College and is pursuing a master's degree in adolescent education at University at Buffalo.
