Florence M. Talamo, a Williamsville homemaker and longtime secretary in family businesses, died Thursday in Williamsville Manor. She was 83.
Born in Cleveland, the former Florence Moccha moved to Buffalo in 1950. She was the wife of Sebastian Talamo, who ran two family-owned busines, Dan-Dee Pretzel & Potato Chip Co., and Buffalo Nut Co. Mrs. Talamo worked as a secretary for 20 years.
Her husband died in 1999.
Mrs. Talamo was a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church in Snyder and active in its Altar & Rosary Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna M. Moore and Patricia Montondo, and a son, Richard.
Services will be held in North Lauderhill, Fla.
