The Twin Village Art Society announced the winners at its Lancaster Library Winter Show: first place, Donna Mazurowski for watercolor; second place, David Hartman for oil; third place, Theresa Roberts for pencil; honorable mention, Susan Lauck for air brush; quality work mention, Karl Kipp for graphite, and Adele Siegel for oil. The show runs through the end of December in the library, 5466 Broadway, Lancaster.

E. Jane Stoddard of East Amherst recently won the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club 110th annual Open Exhibition Medal of Honor in Watercolor at the National Art Club in New York.
A documentary film about Buffalo artist Steve Kurtz, an associate professor at the University at Buffalo, will be among 71 short films screened at the Sundance Film Festival, which runs from Jan. 18-28.
