Gregory A. Fabianski of West Seneca died Tuesday in his home. He was 59.
Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Bishop Timon High School and Canisius College, where he received his bachelor's degree in English education. He was a certified life underwriter.
He started in the insurance business in 1973. He was an employee benefits specialist and president and owner of Complete Benefit Services.
Mr. Fabianski was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish for 33 years, was a lector and also served on the finance committee. He also was a member of the Buffalo Audubon Society, a Promise Keeper and a literacy volunteer. He also made regular visits to prison with the Cephas Prison Ministry, of which he was a past president and served on the board of directors.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, the former Barbara Topor; a daughter, Jessica; a son, Jason; five sisters, Karen Metz, Barbara Jachimiak, Hope Boswell, Ann Morris and Mary Dytchkowskyj; and two brothers, Joseph and Paul Fabianski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4928 Seneca St., West Seneca.
