Lamar A. Williams of Buffalo, a UPS employee, died Friday. He was 27.
Mr. Williams was found shot to death in his car, which was parked in the Broadway-Jefferson Avenue area. Police believe he has just finished an afternoon shift at the delivery company, where he was employed in the warehouse.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Williams attended Kensington High School. He had also worked as a printer at Quebecor.
He was an avid cook and loved dancing and repairing and programming computers.
He is survived by his mother, Dawn Thomas; his father, Dwayne; and a sister, Dawn K. Thomas.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Edison Street Baptist Church, 28 Edison St.
