Joseph M. Printup of the Town of Lockport, a laborer, died Saturday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. He was 50.
Born in Ransomville, Mr. Printup graduated in 1976 from Niagara-Wheatfield High School, where he wrestled and played football and lacrosse. He also coached Niagara-Wheatfield Athletic Association wrestling and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Lacrosse Club.
He lived in Oklahoma for seven years before returning to Lockport in 1995. He was a laborer with various business in the area.
He is survived by his wife of more than 29 years, the former Jeanne C. Schultz; three sons, Jason, Jacob and Timothy; a brother, James; and four sisters, Jeanne Blackburn, Judy Farmer, Jeri and Joyce Bomberry.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Tuscarora Baptist Church, Mount Hope Road, Sanborn.
